Project news:
The Final Conference of CeRamICa project was a major dissemination event with wide participation.
The aim of the conference was to summarize the three years of CeRamICa and make the wider public get to know its results and lessons learnt together, most importantly the joint Policy Recommendations drawn by the project. Presenters of the conference were decision makers and representatives of the partners, as well as European and Hungarian politicians, professionals and representatives of similar European projects and the subsidizing INTERREG IVC Programme.

Italian and Portuguese delegation have were welcomed in the frame of the CeRamICa project from 30 September to 1st October 2010 in Vallauris. The programme of the visit “was the opportunity of an exchange of best practices” permitting the partners to discover and know French ceramic culture

Italian and Portuguese CeRamICa project partners arrived at Hódmezővásárhely and spent three days in the town in order to know its 7000 years old ceramic culture better and exchange experiences with their "collegues"

The project has not only arrived at its mid-term phase, but also one of its most important section, the transfer of best practices. Partners under these study trips, can learn each others' small crafts sectors more and adopt some good ideas and experiences.

In February, 2009 the Municipality of Corund (PP4) get out of the project. In order not to risk the project’s implementation, the partnership wanted to replace them with a new partner as soon as possible. Our aim was to find the best possible partner who could be the most added value to the CeRamICa project, and at the same time involve a new partner who come from a country from where there has been no partner so far, in order to widen the geographical coverage of the project even further. This way we have found Abruzzo Development Agency from Italy, which became the new partner in May.♦ Read more...
Mayors, vice-mayors and project managers of 12 partners from 7 European countries will celebrate CeRamICa project's launch in late February together with the large public attending the kick-off conference on the 20th of February in Hódmezővásárhely. Dozens of people have already registered to the conference to listen to speeches delivered by acknowledged European INTERREG Programme representatives, experts and delegates of the relevant government and regional authorities.♦ Read more...
After having been approved in September 2008, the CeRamICa Partnership, represented by the Lead Partner, Hódmezővásárhely had to fulfill certain conditions and thus make some minor modifications to the Application Form according to the request of the JTS. Therefore official starting point of the project dates to 1 November 2008.
